Pastor Minnick married his wife Maureen in January of 2009. They have five children, Ashlynn, Preston, Brennli  Laicey and Carson. 

He was saved at 9 years old and was called to preach at the age of 12. The Lord has given him many opportunities since then to preach the Gospel and share the Word.

Pastor Minnick is a Heartland Baptist Bible College graduate with over 14 years of ministry experience. He has a love and passion for expository Bible preaching. He has seen many accept Christ and has been influential in many individuals' lives throughout the course of his service to the Lord. 

In 2015 the Lord began a work in Pastor Minnick's life and started to prepare his heart for church planting. He surrendered to that call at the annual Church Planter's Conference at Heartland Baptist Bible College and began movement towards that call. In May the Lord made His way clear that the city of Twentynine Palms was where the Minnick Family was supposed to be. Their first service was the first Sunday in July of 2015.
